Privacy notice

What we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to ask us to delete it. Written to be read rather than survived, because a governance practice that hides its own data handling has no product.

Who we are

Govern IT Seychelles, an independent technology governance advisory practice based in Mahé, Seychelles. For anything in this notice, contact governitseychelles@gmail.com.

What we collect

Only what you send us through the contact form: your name, organisation, approximate organisation size, email address, preferred contact method, and whatever you write in the message field.

What we do not collect

  • No analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind
  • No cookies
  • No mailing list. There is no subscription and nothing to unsubscribe from
  • No third-party fonts or embedded content, so no other company sees your visit
  • Nothing from the Quick Diagnosis. It runs entirely in your browser and your answers are never sent to us or stored anywhere

Why we hold it, and for how long

To reply to you and, if it goes further, to scope an engagement. If nothing comes of it we delete your enquiry within twelve months of our last contact. If we work together, records are kept for the period our engagement terms set out.

Who else sees it

No form provider is involved. The enquiry form does not submit anything to this website or to any service acting for us. It opens your own email application with the message already written, and nothing reaches us until you press send there. Until that moment what you typed exists only on your own device, and you can edit or abandon it.

Once you send it, the enquiry sits in our email inbox, so our email provider handles it in the ordinary way that email is handled. That provider is the only other party involved. We do not sell, share or pass your information to anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address above and we will act on it. You do not need a reason.

Confidentiality

What you write in an enquiry often describes a weakness in your own organisation. We treat it as confidential business information, we do not discuss it outside the practice, and we never use it as an example, even anonymised, without your written permission.

This notice will be dated and finalised before the site goes live. Nothing above describes anything we do not do.
