About

An independent technology governance practice

We are a technology governance advisory practice based in Seychelles. We exist because technology now shapes how organisations decide, and the people held accountable for it rarely have independent evidence to judge it by.

Why we exist

Accountability without evidence

Technology sits at the centre of almost every organisation. It supports operations, enables services, holds critical information, connects people and protects data. The people answerable for all of that are usually not technologists, and are asked to approve decisions they have no independent basis to judge.

What we believe

Governance is not bureaucracy. It exists to help organisations make better technology decisions, reduce risk, improve accountability and move with confidence. A framework that produces paperwork and no better decisions has failed.

Which is why every engagement ends in something usable: a written position, a ranked list, and a plan with owners against it.

Who we work with

  • Organisations answerable to leadership, an oversight committee or a regulator
  • Financial services and insurance
  • Telecoms and utilities
  • Government bodies and parastatals
  • Larger tourism and hospitality groups

Typically 50 to 500 staff, in Seychelles and the wider region.

Making it real

Governance has to be lived, not filed

Standards only work if they are built into how the organisation operates every day, through five reinforcing mechanisms.

  • 01Clear directionAssess the current maturity state, acknowledge the gaps, set the priority objectives and build the road map.
  • 02Formal processesRepeatable routines that make good governance the default, giving consistency, accountability and proper oversight.
  • 03Governing documentsPolicies, procedures, frameworks and guidelines. The explicit rules, formally approved, that everyone works to.
  • 04Committees and structuresLeadership holds ultimate accountability for technology. A steering group reviews, guides and decides.
  • 05Continuous awarenessEveryone understands their role and responsibilities, so governance becomes culture rather than paperwork.

Next step

Take the first step

Most engagements start with a short discussion about what your organisation is trying to achieve and where technology is getting in the way. From there we agree a clear scope and a fixed price before any work begins.
